Spring break

Well, I just had my spring break, as the title of the blog may indicate to you.
Our family went down to our usual getaway, Kiawah Island in South Carolina (about 1/2 hour south of Charleston). It was absolutely lovely, pretty much every day could be summed up as such: 80-85 degrees, and sunny. I honestly don't think I ever saw the sun be blocked out by clouds in six days. SIX DAYS OF PURE, UN-ADULTERATED SUNSHINE.

I fly back to my lovely residence in the Midwest, and I get about 48 degrees, a thunderstorm, and more water in my front yard than grass, which is overgrown and needs mowed.

Pain

A heavy subject for my first time back in a while?

Probably.

I don't really think I have much else to write about, though. Been kind of a blah-ish past few weeks.

But today sucked. Without a doubt. One of the worst ones in a long time. People telling me I'm not good enough, people showing me zero respect, people asserting power where they haven't earned it, and all those people somehow expecting me to show them the utmost respect I can possibly muster.
Yes, I'm talking about teachers here.
And it hurt. The first instance just kind of ticked me off (a lot) and I was just kind of expecting to be done with it. But the rest of them just piled on top before I could fully analyze how the problem before even happened. I still don't really understand how the great weekend I just had could totally blow up in my face the very next day...
But isn't that the definition of Monday anyway?

*sigh*
I need some ice cream. Comfort food. I'd be so fat if I wasn't anorexic...

Unmotivation

Yes, unmotivation. A key part of my life, really. I tend to not do things because... well... why should I?
Okay, yeah, so I know about how it all means that I'm a good person and that I'm going somewhere in life and my GPA will go up by .000000004, but honestly, I just couldn't really care less for the most part. I need to know all the 20th century Presidents in order by tomorrow morning 1st period?
Who cares?
Not me.
